Bringing Healthcare to the Doorstep

On 21st February 2021, Sahajiya organized its tenth community service initiative at Surjyopur, Balbalia Village, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, with a focus on providing accessible healthcare to underserved communities.

In collaboration with experienced medical professionals, including Asesh Ray and Sada, the organization conducted a free medical camp aimed at addressing the urgent health needs of the local population.

A total of 110 beneficiaries received medical consultations, basic health check-ups, and guidance on maintaining proper health and hygiene. For many residents of Balbalia Village, access to healthcare facilities is limited, making such initiatives crucial in early diagnosis and prevention of diseases.

The camp not only provided treatment but also raised awareness about health practices, encouraging individuals to take proactive steps towards their well-being. Patients were attended with care and empathy, ensuring that each person felt heard and supported.

Through this initiative, Sahajiya reaffirmed its commitment to improving community health and reaching those who often remain beyond the reach of regular medical services. Community Service X stands as a testament to the power of compassionate care and collective effort.
